BUT EVEN NEWER:

Loggo earlier filed a provisional patent for Apparatus and Method of Connecting Timber Flanges on 27.06.16 ( Australian Provisional Patent Application 2016902510 ) which allows us to build multi - rise residential, commercial, government buildings etc. up to 8 storeys in Australia. This is in concert with the new building code for tall timber buildings. Indeed, this new building juggernaut is being led worldwide by the use of Cross Laminated Timber ( CLT) but we see that we can do the same for similar or less costs at a much faster rate with our very new and innovative Column and Beam construction method using our already patented Multi Logs.

WHERE ARE WE AT NOW?:

We have just now, 29.01.2017 filed a full International Patent PCT/AU2017/050073 Apparatus and Method of Connecting Timber Flanges.

And we have just successfully tested a flooring cassette of some 4.8m Joists with 4m Bearers made exclusively from Peeler Cores. The joists and bearers are brought to site in stick form, very rapidly bolted together in a jig and craned into position. This system has many advantages over trucking pre-fabricated cassettes/modules to sight ( cassette size limitation, no trucks waiting, speed of assembly - is quicker than crane loading time etc). This speed of erection allows for a 500m+ full storey ( incl. Columns) to be erected in a day and reduces the Preliminaries costs. This is more than an exciting innovation and promises to cut Upper Floor costs substantially as the Loggo Column System does away with the load bearing walls for the Internal Floors. 

 

WHAT DOES THIS DO?

It allows us to offer a new, unique,  very green, and very, very cost-effective, viable column and beam  building system whereby the most suitable Venturers will be ideally placed to effectively compete with CLT as well as concrete and steel in this soon to be burgeoning market ( see NEWS). Also its versatility allows it to be used as a lower cost alternative floor system when combined with such building modalities.
